Lonnie
Bullin d. November 2006
I don't know
how many of you knew Lonnie. He as a Duffy that moved up to Schleswig
in '77. Lonnie and I followed each other around the world for 10
years from Devens to Vietnam to Thailand back to Devens and then to
Augsburg. We were roommates when I first arrived at 3rd Ops after
Lonnie convinced Maj Babbitch to pull me out of 1st ops.
It took me years to find him and I finally did in '06. We were supposed to get together when Ginny and I went to Myrtle Beach but he wasn't able at the time. I just "re-found" him and sent him an email telling him it's Myrtle Beach time again and looking to get together.
I just received an email from his wife, Pat informing me that Lonnie passed away in November of '06. Shortly after we last spoke..... He was my friend and I will miss him terribly..... (Ken Manley)

Ken Manley here, don't expect you to remember me except to say that you assigned Lonnie Bullin and I to build the BBQ and cook the pigs for the Bicentennial. (March, 2005)

“I just found this site yesterday, by way of Ken Manley (Missouri). I see Tom Harris (as always) is on top of the situation. Dwight Pinkerton (Nebraska) visited me in N.C. last summer to see his son (Riley) off to Iraq . . . Our prayers are with him. Larry Kitzmiller visited me a few moons back after retirement, lost touch after that. I was stationed in Thailand, Nam, Korea, and Germany 1970 - 1979. It feels good to be back on the 05D net again.
